The Prayer focus for August is Our Schools
As a new school year begins, may we join in prayer for God’s presence, protection, and guidance to be with every school administrator, teacher, school employee, bus driver, parent, and student.

Opportunities for This Week and Beyond 
Wednesday, August 9

• 6:00 pm – Children’s Choir (ages pre-k thru 5th grade)
• 6:30 pm – Bible Study for Adults & Youth, G-Zone for children
• 6:30 pm – Chancel Choir Practice

Small Group Bible Studies
Our fall Bible studies will start this Wednesday night, August 9th, at 6:30 pm. You can find a description of the studies being offered on the bulletin board outside the office or visit saltillomethodist.org/small-groups.

Acolytes
Children in 1st grade thru 5th grade who are interested in serving as an acolyte in the Sanctuary service are invited, with a parent, to meet in the Sanctuary next Sunday, August 13th, at 8:45 am for an informational meeting.

Stone Soup Ministry
We will be serving lunch at the Salvation Army on Saturday, August 19th, at 10:45 am. If you are able to donate a dessert or help serve, please contact Stacey Greenwood at 662-934-5091.
