October Prayer Focus
The Prayer focus for October is “Finding Your Place through In His Steps.”
Our Scripture texts are: I Peter 2:21 “For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:” and I Peter 4:10 “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” May we earnestly pray for God to place each of us in the ministry areas He wills.

6:50 am – Youth Prayer Breakfast in the FLC
6:30 pm – Community-wide Prayer Service at Saltillo City Hall
Fall Festival
Fall Festival is Sunday, October 22, and we need your help to make it the best yet! We need
trunks for Trunk-or-Treat and sweet treats for the Cake Walk. This year we are also having a
Chili Cook-off so bring your best chili! Sign-up sheets for Trunk-or-Treat and Chili Cook-off are
at the Welcome Desk in the Sanctuary and Ignite and in the Children’s Wing. No need to sign
up for the cake walk, just bring your best dessert the day of. Prizes will be given for Best Trunk
and Best Chili! We also need candy for games and Trunk-or-Treat! A box is set up in the
Children’s Wing for candy donations. Thank you for making this Fall Festival full of fun! We
can’t wait to fellowship with all of you!
