Opportunities for This Week and Beyond 
Today
  • SUNDAY SCHOOL PROMOTION GATHERING in Family LifeCenter with breakfast prepared by United Methodist Men’s Fellowship.  Breakfast will be served from 8:30 until 9:10 am.  Promotion recognition will begin at 9:10 am.   If you would like to make a donation for this breakfast, the proceeds will benefit the youth ministry.
  • 4:30-6:00 pm – Youth Back-to-School Bash 

Wednesday
  • 6:00 pm – New Music Activity – Music/ Hand Chimes Class
We have a new activity for ages 2nd grade and up (including adults)!  You will learn to read music notes and rhythms and also learn how to play the hand chimes.  This is perfect for aspiring Handbell ringers or choir members!  Join us in the choir room to get started!
  • 6:30 pm – Bible Study for Youth & Adults, G-Zone for children 
  • 6:30 pm -- New Women’s Bible Study "Discerning the Voice of God" by 
Priscilla Shirer, through 7 sessions, we'll discover the root to clear and daily communication with God—humble obedience. Learn how surrender unlocks His many blessings intended for us, centers us in His will, and helps us discern His voice in everyday life. Purchase a book and come join us tonight in the “Find Us Faithful” classroom! 
  • 6:30 pm – Adult Choir Practice -- You Are Invited!
Join us on Wednesday nights to make beautiful music for His glory!
 
 Saturday, August 20 
  • Stone Soup will be serving a meal at Salvation Army. If you would like 
to help. Contact Sandra Martin at 255-0724. The Alabaster Bag Ministry is in dire need of men's jeans sizes 30 to 42. Please put them in the donation box.  The donation box is located in the area of Bro John's office. Thanks for the continued donations to the homeless.
