She Reads Truth: Romans

Salvation. Righteousness. Faith. Grace. Freedom. Paul’s letter to the Romans gives us a rich and robust understanding of these and other foundational aspects of the Christian faith. Yet, this letter was written to Christians—to those who already believed and trusted Jesus for life and salvation. So why would they need such a lengthy reminder? Paul wanted his fellow brothers and sisters to remember the fullness of the gospel message: how it removes barriers, unifies believers, and shapes our everyday lives.

In this five-week study, we will be reminded of the gospel message through Paul’s words, whether for the first time or the thousandth time. Join us as we read what is true of the Christian faith and allow the gospel message to inform every aspect of our lives.

He's Where the Joy Is

Esther

It's hard to know a God we don't understand, and it's hard to love a God we don't know.

But our God wants to be known and loved, and He’s told us a lot about Himself in the pages of His Word.

Join Tara-Leigh Cobble in this 7-session study as she breaks down the intimidating doctrine of the Trinity. You'll discover a beautiful, foundational view of our Triune God that will transform how you relate to Him. Understanding God's three-in-oneness and each of the Persons of God individually—Father, Son, and Spirit—will lead you to deeper intimacy with God and greater joy in knowing Him!

Study starts Jan 7th in the Be the Light room.

A beautiful queen, her courageous cousin, a foreign land, and a murderous adversary—the book of Esther has all the elements of an epic drama. The story unfolds at a time when the people of God are split between nations with an uncertain future. While the name of God may not be mentioned in the book of Esther, its pages highlight His work among His people and foreshadow Jesus’s very ministry to us—darkness to light, mourning to celebration, death to life.

In this 7-session study, Kelly Minter invites you into the daring faith modeled by Esther and her cousin Mordecai—a faith developed over time, rooted in the goodness of God, lived out through extraordinary circumstances, and used to change the world. Although our time looks different from Esther’s, our God is just as active and faithful today, and He has called you for such a time as this.

Exodus

ROMANS

The book of Exodus chronicles the Israelites’ epic journey from slavery to freedom. Yet it’s also a journey plagued by fear, doubt, and distrust in God. Today the story remains the same, as a loving God continues to deliver broken people. This study takes on an in-depth look at the Israelites’ difficult path to the Promised Land, and reveals the freedom found in trusting a faithful God.

Please consider joining us in the Sid Robison room each Wednesday at 6:30. If you have any questions, please contact Ken Smith.
