Opportunities for This Week and Beyond
Today
•3:00 pm - Drama planning session for “The Day He Wore My Crown,” to be presented this year during Lent. Everyone interested in planning, scene direction, costuming, and scenery is invited and needed!
•4:00 pm - Calling all actors and singers for “The Day He Wore My Crown!” This will be our first practice for this production. Singers and actors of all ages and abilities are welcome! Children will be learning their part on Wednesday nights. Actors are needed at our music practices for this program.
Wednesday, January 18
• 6:30 pm – Bible Study for Youth & Adults, G-Zone for children
• 6:30 pm – Chancel Choir Practice
• 7:30 pm – Called Administrative Board Meeting for the Fact-Finding
Committee to present its findings regarding disaffiliation options in preparation for whole church presentations.
Thursday, January 19
• 9:00 am – Fact Finding Committee presentation for the members of the church.
• 5:00 pm -- Senior Adult Night Out group will be going to Cravin
Catfish in Sherman
Saturday, January 21
•10:45 am-noon - SFUMC will be providing soup and sandwiches at the Salvation Army. You can be a part of this ministry in a couple of ways: 1) provide a crockpot of either taco or chicken soup 2) help us serve. All ages are welcome. For more info, contact Stacey Greenwood @ 662-934-5091.

• 4:00 pm – Fact Finding Committee presentation for the members of the church.
Wednesday, January 25
• 5:00-6:15 pm – Spaghetti Dinner Youth Fundraiser for Summer Camp.
• 6:30 pm – Church-wide meeting with a final presentation from Fact
Finding Committee and straw vote regarding disaffiliation from the UMC.
• 7:30 pm – Administrative Board Meeting
