Amory Tornado Clean-Up

This Sunday afternoon, April 2, we will be taking a group to volunteer with 8 Days of Hope. We will leave the church at 3:00pm to help out & serve in the Amory community. We will take the small bus until it is full and everyone else can carpool.

We will serve from 3:30pm-until. It will probably be closer to 7-7:30 when we will finish up.

• You must be 16+ to serve on this outreach. (Per 8 Days of Hope)
• Please bring any tools that you can, especially those that you would anticipate using for removing debris or mucking out a home.
• Please wear sunblock & clothes/shoes that are suitable for working outside.

We will be collecting donations for the tornado victims in Amory this week. You may drop off your donations Monday through Wednesday 8:00-2:00 and Wednesday night 5:30-7:30. Please drop off inside the entrance to the Family Life Center.

These are the most needed items at this time:

• Toilet paper
• Paper towels
• Sunblock
• Electrolyte drinks (Gatorade, Pedialyte)
• Feminine hygiene products
• Heavy duty trash bags
• Totes with lids for sorting and carrying
• Canned goods/non perishables
• Baby items (formula, diapers, wipes, etc.)
